Fitness programs should be as individual as the people they are designed to serve. Your goals come first when we work together to help you reach your fitness objectives. My full time job is in the Fire Service as a Lieutenant/Paramedic. I have 15 years of experience helping people as a paramedic and 18 years in the medical field. My hobbies include triathlon competition, hiking and boating. All enable me to work effectively with a broad range of clients of any age, and a diverse range of needs and interests (mobility, balance, strength, endurance, general wellness, competition, therapeutic needs, weight management and more). My priorities are to help people achieve their fitness goals, and also work to establish a sustainable maintenance program which is both effective and fun. While I work full time, my nine 24 hour shifts per month allow flexibility to accommodate your schedule. I stay current with new fitness and nutritional information, and have the experience to differentiate between true advances and the latest fad. I welcome the opportunity to meet you and talk about your fitness and health desires, and would be happy to provide references from other satisfied clients so you can discover what a difference individualized instruction can make.
| Cooling down properly redistributes the blood that may have pooled in the extremities when you end your workout, and it prevents muscle stiffness because it allows the metabolic wastes to be worked out of your muscles. |
